About

I am a freedom fighter creating tools for human liberation.

I believe that crypto is our chance to escape a technological dystopia and supersede the corrupt system that let it happen. We need open source technology with built-in economic incentives to propel the social change the world needs.

I am currently cofounder at The Network State Company. We are building a prosperous society where talent and wealth flow freely by helping humans become sovereign. We make Baseflow, where you can acquire new citizenships and residencies.

My previous work has been in Aragon, which I cofounded in 2016. Aragon took DAOs from $0 to $20bn in assets under management. It currently also powers some of Ethereum heavyweights, like Lido Finance and Curve.

Before Aragon, I co-founded Stampery, a pioneer in blockchain timestamping, in 2014. The company pivoted into Witnet, a decentralized oracle network.

I started my career working on free software, founding a Linux distribution called Asturix in 2008, when I was 12 years old. During those early years, I co-founded multiple failed startups, advised the European Commission and learned a lot!

I’m an angel investor and I have co-invested alongside other angels like Balaji Srinivasan, Snoop Dogg, Ryan Hoover, Alexis Ohanian, Ashton Kutcher and VCs like a16z, USV and Placeholder.
